History:
(Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#36 (fb)) - Bellos plucked his left eye from his head and gave it to Nyarla-Gorath in exchange for the demon's own sight and wisdom. Bellos then adulterated his own blood with Nyarla-Gorath's bile and became some kind of vampire.
Bellos spread the disease by tooth and fang to create an undead army for himself. Bellos then allied with the Fenris Wolf, attacked the chariot of the goddess Söl and captured Jara of the Riven Sky, whom he kept chained up near his throne.
A red moon rose over Asgard and caused an eternal night, during which Bellos' undead hordes attacked villages and laid siege on the city of Asgard for months.
(Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#36) - Bellos was informed by one of his vampires that the young princelings Loki and Thor had ventured to the ruins of Heimdall's watchtower outside the city. Bellos didn't want them to be captured because Odin would expect that, but instead magically dropped his left eye near the watchtower for Loki to find as a trap to invite him and his hordes into the besieged city of Asgard.
Loki found the eye as planned after he had a talk with time-travelling heroine Escapade and added it to his chest of treasures.
(Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#39 - BTS) - Loki took the Eye of Bellos inside the walls of Asgard.
(Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#39) - Loki showed the eye to Escapade's fellow time-travelling heroine Bloodline and she recognized it as the pommel of her stake from in the future. She quickly realized that Bellos had been invited into the city by bringing his eye, a part of him, inside.
Bellos and his undead hordes invaded the city. Meanwhile Bloodline's cat Walpurgis teleported Bloodline, Escapade and Loki to the Spire of Bellos where they freed Jara after Loki convinced Fenris to just let her go.
Bellos had Thor in his grasp until Loki returned with Jara, Bloodline and Escapade to Asgard on flying horses. Jara quickly destroyed Bellos' vampire horde by causing the sun to rise with her chariot. Bellos hid under cloak, but was then destroyed by Escapade with a stake loaned to her by Bloodline. Bellos turned to a pile of ash after Escapade staked him through the heart.
(Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#39 - BTS) - In the aftermath Loki added the Eye of Bellos as pommel to the Yggdrasil branch Bellos had been destroyed with and gave it to Jara because he knew that one day in the future she would give it to Bloodline.
BTS - He got better!
(Thor I#419/2 (fb) - BTS) - The aged Frost Giant sorcerer Bellos butchered seven Frost Giant children and drained their blood as a sacrifice to summon Ymir.
(Thor I#419/2) - Utand, the father of one of the children, and a party of Frost Giants hunted Bellos through the Northern Forests of Jotunheim. They caught up to him and tried to impale him with spears, but Bellos made it to his destination, the crevice known as the Crack of Doom. Even though he had essentially trapped himself and was surrounded by the angry mob of Frost Giants, Bellos coldly explained that it was merciful to kill the children because of what was coming and needed their blood for a ritual. He was impaled by a spear through the chest and while he fell dropped the sack filled with the childrens' blood into the crevice. Moments later the ancient giant Ymir rose from the Crack of Doom.
SECRET WARS III HAPPENED
(Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#36 - BTS) - Immortus sent Bloodline and Escapade to the past to find a great object of power that threatened the timeline at a time when Bellos laid siege on Asgard with a horde of vampires.

Brielle received the Tusk of Ratatoskr in Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#13 (September 18th, 2024). It has the actual Eye of Bellos as its pommel, but is a splinter of Yggdrasil and not an actual tusk of Ratatoskr.
Bellos' appearances in Avengers Academy happened way before Thor I#419/2, which took place parallel to the modern day stories at the time. Due to time travel shenanigans characters from the present traveled to Asgard during a time when Thor and Loki were still children a long time before Bellos' first appearance.
There is absolutely no explanation for Bellos' return to life in Thor I#419/2 after his very explicit demise in Avengers Academy. Maybe he just got better because he was a vampire. Maybe magic also played a part in it. Maybe even the past of the Marvel Universe was changed by the soft reboot after Secret Wars III. We will never know for sure!
It seems to be more than just a coincidence that Nyarla-Gorath looks and is named similarly to Shuma-Gorath.
