TWITCH

Real Name: Unrevealed

Identity/Class: Normal human

Occupation: Crime tipster/snitch

Affiliations: Nick Katzenberg, Spider-Man (Peter Parker)

Enemies: Praetorian Guard, indirectly "Richard Fisk" (see comments) and the Rose (Sgt. Blume)

Known Relatives: None (see comments)

Aliases: None

Base of Operations: The Lower East side of Manhattan

First Appearance: Spectacular Spider-Man II#173 (February, 1991)

Powers/Abilities: Twitch had no powers or obvious skills at all. He had a good knowledge of what was going on in the criminal underworld.

History:
(Spectacular Spider-Man II#173) - Twitch told Nick Katzenberg of a meeting between the new Rose and Richard Fisk.

(Web of Spider-Man I#84) - Twitch was approached by Nick Katzenberg who paid for Twitch to tip him off on a story (Nick Katzenberg was a reporter). Twitch told Nick that this tip wasn't as good as the last one he gave him, and informed Nick that Peter Parker had been given the credit for Nick's pictures.

(Web of Spider-Man I#87) - When Spider-Man was looking for the Rose, he followed lead after lead until he found Twitch, who had sent out a message that he could help Spider-Man. He told Spider-Man that the Rose had hurt his little boy once and then told Spider-Man where to find the Rose. Nick then emerged from the shadows and thanked Twitch for tipping him off on the location of the Rose. Nick then followed Spider-Man to the Rose's location. However, a member of the Praetorian Guard had also been hiding in the shadows, and proceeded to kill Twitch by snapping his neck.

Comments: Created by Howard Mackie and Alex Saviuk

Twitch may or may not have had a little boy, but he definitely made up the story of the Rose hurting his son. Whether he has a son is unrevealed, but because it is not certain, I'm leaving "none" for known relatives.

The Richard Fisk in this story was actually Richard's friend Alfredo Morelli, who had undergone extensive surgery to look like Richard.

We are almost guaranteed to never gonna see this guy again. He didn't even have an entry in the Spider-Man appendix or Snood's Master List.
