Powers: Rotgut had no powers but usually carried a knife with him to put the last nail in the coffin and kill a person, while fighting Daredevil, Daredevil thought he was strong and impervious to pain. 

History: The man called Rotgut was a sickly man who was spermophobic and was also schizophrenic he believed the world was out to kill him so he was going to kill the world first.

(Daredevil I#239, 240 (fb) ) - As a child the Rotgut's mother scared Rotgut against going out in the sun because its rays would kill him. She also scared him from eating candy because they rot your teeth and the cavities would be filled with metal and act as a slow poison. The windows had to be closed to keep out germs, color TV released "radioactive" microwaves, hamburgers clogged your veins, garbage festered as a breeding ground for disease, soda pop ate yu from the inside-out, etc.
Then his grandmother had gangrene and Rotgut's mother forced Rotgut to give his grandmother her medicine but his grandmother awoke grabbing Rotgut. Rotgut ran away scared that he was poisoned forever and nothing would be the same again.  

(Daredvil I#239) - As a grown man Rotgut became a slasher killing people because he feared they were killing him. Rotgut stilled lived with his mother. He called and tormented a pregnant woman, accusing her of poisoning her baby. Matt Murdoch encountered Rotgut when he flipped out in a restaurant, accusing them of serving dead cow, filled with terror, hormones, and poison. Rotgut fled when Matt tried to calm him down, and then he hired and slew a prostitute, to stop her from spreading her disease.

(Daredevil I#240) - Rotgut's mother who was worried about gas leaking in her apartment even though landlord didn't believe her. Daredevil forced the landlord to look into the gas because he was looking into the building because he got a hint that Rotgut lived there. He asked the old lady about it but she said that she only lived with her baby boy. After Daredevil left Rotgut went down to the basement of the building to put poison in the water supply. While he was doing this Hilda, Daredevil's friend, who served Rotgut a burger at the diner she worked in, was watching him. When Hilda saw that Rotgut was putting poison in the water she attempted to stop him but got knocked out by Rotgut. Luckily Daredevil who came to help when he learned what she was doing saved her. The Fat Boys learned about what Rotgut did and proceed to tell all the tenants that the water was poisoned. Daredevil fought Rotgut but Rotgut kept on saying they were the same trying to cut out the disease before it kills the organism. While the two were fighting Rotguts mother drank the poisoned water and when she found out her son poisoned she called him a bad cell. Realizing that he was cancer Rotgut tried to kill himself but Daredevil stopped him and gave him to the authorities.

I thought Rotgut was interesting even though he was a bit confusing but I do thing it would be cool if he were brought back.
