History: (Avengers West Coast#76)- Mona was working on the set of "The Demon That Devoured Hollywood" while the Avengers watched the making of the film. When the filming crew and stars were attacked by the Night Shift, Mona watched as the Avengers drove them off.

(Avengers West Coast#78)- Mona was forced by the Night Shift to assist them in creating their own movie, and Misft made advances toward her, which she rebuffed. Misfit nearly attacked her, but Wonder Man, pretending to aid the Night Shift, helped keep Misfit away from her.

(Avengers West Coast#79)- Mona finally joined with the rest of the crew in rebelling against the Night Shift, using a fire extinguisher to drive off Misfit. Mona tried to encourage the reporters who had been brought to cover the Night Shift's film to join in the fight, but they refused, noting that the crew were already defeated. Needle then attempted to stab Mona, but the Living Lightning appeared and saved her. Mona was grateful, and kissed him.

(Avengers West Coast#84)- After spending an evening with Living Lightning at the Avengers Compound, Mona joined some of the Avengers for breakfast the next morning, wearing one of Miguel's shirts. Mona was interested in the political discussion the Avengers were having over the murder of Weston, an attempted whistle-blower, but the Living Lightning was uninterested in politics, much to the disgust of the Avengers' maid, Consuela.
