History: Dr. McDonald, under the codename Lime, was employed as part of Project: Glamor, an operation to duplicate the super soldier serum created by Theodore Sallis. The project was originally begun at the Freedom Science Study Institute (FSSI), by another scientist, Dr. Railsback (aka Brew). When Railsback appeared unable to have a surviving test subject, General Selbert (aka Brass), a high-ranking member of the Project, decided that it was time to replace him. Railsback was extremely resentful of his Dr. McDonald, refusing to work with him. Fearful that Railsback would speak out against their illicit activities, Selbert had him chosen to become their next test subject. McDonald succeeded in enabling the serum to differentiate between different types of tissue, and Railsback became the Project's first successful super soldier, although e was hideously mutated as well..

McDonald was next instructed by Col. Jody Choate (aka Steel), another high ranking Project member, to create seven more doses of serum (aka Juice). Choate, having willingly taken the fall in front of the US Congressional committee investigating the Project, saw his career as over. In order to continue to serve his country, Choate volunteered himself and six other loyal soldiers to become test subjects. When Choate's mutation was successful, he had McDonald accompany the he and the other six soldiers to mutate them en route to a mission to Costa Dinora. At the successful conclusion of this mutation, McDonald discussed payment for his duties. Choate, now a hideous super soldier, furious that McDonald would demand money for serving the US government, tore out McDonald's heart, killing him.
