The robot overpowered Captain America at first, hurling him through walls and blasting him with its electrostatic energy, but Captain America managed to deflect many of its blasts with his shield, then came in close just as it was about to launch its miniature missiles from its chest. Just as it fired, Captain America covered the opening in its chest with his shield, and the missiles backfired, destroying the Man-Killer.
