History: (Darkhold#2 (fb, BTS))- Pyromaniac Morton Thurnton used a page of the Darkhold to summon the Hellhound. Thurnton wanted to find something that would make for a large fire so the Hellhound led him to the home of General Mark Hamilton, in the process fighting with Hamilton's guard dog Sherman.

(Darkhold#2)- With its job done the Hellhound sought the page Thurnton had used to summon it, but it was now in the possession of the Darkhold Redeemers. Louise Hastings showed the Hound that they now controlled the page, so they must do their bidding. They got the Hellhound to retrace its steps and it brought them to Hamilton's mansion. The Hound waited outside as they spoke to Hamilton.

(Darkhold#2 (BTS))- The Hound stayed with the group as they tried again to break into Hamilton's home again. The Hellhound killed the guard dog Sherman but was then almost killed by Hamilton's laser security grid.

(Darkhold#2)- Even as badly damaged as it was the Hound managed to crawl its way to the page once again, but Morton Thurnton had eaten it to prevent having to give it away. The Hellhound ripped Thurnton open, then merged with the page.
