CORRECTIONS TEMPLATE
1) Remove all Roman Numeral classifications throughout the profile. Where necessary, replace it with first name, group membership, and/or first appearance.
2) Double click on each image
and see if it has the size locked in place (resulting in an
enlarged and slightly blurry picture). If so, unclick the box,
allowing each image to shrink back to its correct size.
Otherwise, images are best left alone to avoid screwing up
pathways, If you have the means to do this correctly, and want to
do it, you can rename both the image and the pathway--Be careful
if you're not sure
3) Always notify my after any changes with all files altered, b/c I need to save them to my hard drive to keep an up-to-date back-up of the site.
4) Correct all links from http://marvunapp.com/Appendix/filename.htm to http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/filename.htm (add the "www."). There are less errors this way.
5) Spellcheck
6) Update the disclaimer, etc. at the bottom if needed
7) After a colon, the first letter should be capitalized.
8) If people have put a space before the pound sign, remove it. You can search/replace for this.
Real Name: should be ok, unless new info available
Identity/Class: provide a link if appropriate (appconan,
appwest, appnu, appuv).
Add any relevant info if appropriate to
make it clear a character is extraterrestrial,
extradimensional, extratemporal, etc.
Ask me if you're not sure
on the name for a dimension.
Occupation: should be ok, unless new info available
Group Membership: a newer addition, so Affiliations should be split b/t allies and team memberships
Affiliations: Old entries have affiliations and enemies
lumped together--these should be separated.--ADD LINKS to PROFILES THAT NOW
EXIST on the APPENDIX

Fix broken links
Enemies: Change this from underlined to BOLD--ADD LINKS to PROFILES THAT NOW EXIST on the APPENDIX
Known Relatives: should be ok, unless new info available
Aliases: should be ok, unless new info available
Base of Operations: should be ok, unless new info available
First Appearance: old entries list this as "Appearances" and have all of the issues in a code that was hard for other people to understand. This should be truncated and changed to First appearance, and the issues should be moved to the start of each relevant portion of the history.
Powers/Abilities: Add any talents and abilities
History: For the most part, the histories should be up-to-date.
In the case that they're not, the person who wrote the profile is
responsible for the update within 30 days of the new info. E-Mail
that person, and make a note to check back with them. If this
fails, let me know.
Also, a few of the really old entries didn't give the issue by
issue synopses. Let me know which ones these are, so I can
correct them.
Comments: This section is missing from old entries. "Note:" should be replaced by comments, and in the early cases, the writers and artists may not have been credited. Let me know if the info is needed and not available to you.
If you want, you can add any semi-relevant comments you want to make. Make sure to let me know so I can review them
CLARIFICATIONS: This is missing from old entries and
should be added.
Make sure to remove/correct the Roman Numerals.
Underlined or Italics clarifications, as I used in older files
should be replaced by bold (and ideally a bulleted system) as I
use in my current files.
Check a recent one by me if you're not
sure what I'm talking about.
Also, check this for content. You should be able to use the character index (see the clarifications instructions under #7 of appguide) and find any others. As the site gets more complete, this info will be more readily available.

APPENDIX ONLY!

Add this line to separate the main from sub-entries, to separate sub-entries, and to separate the subs from the disclaimers at the bottom.
Lastly, cut and paste the below
four lines into the bottom of every profile in which they're not
there. The last updated line has a "timecode" built
into it that updates this every time the page is opened by the
writer.
Of special note is the disclaimer, which should be this version,
specifically "1941-2099", so we don't have to update it
each year.
