Powers/Abilities: Corpus Derelicti was a cyborg, outfitted with devices which provided him with enhanced strength, immunity to most forms of harm, and a personal energy field. Corpus Derelicti also employed tiny robot drones which were used to communicate with the MLF. He likely also possessed a teleportation device.

History: (Punisher III#13)- Corpus Derelicti was sent to the Glory Day mission soup kitchen by the MLF to capture Reverend William Conover in order to further incite anti-mutant sentiments. He found Conover defended by the Punisher, Kymberly Taylor, and Carl Denti. Although bullets passed through his body without seeming to harm him, the Punisher was able to break one of his legs, and Taylor shot his left arm off of his body. Unable to complete his mission, Corpus Derelicti contacted the MLF, and they sent Blastfurnace to kill him, to prevent him from being either interrogated or examined.

(Punisher III#16)- As the Punisher raided the Humanity's Last Stand compound, he was confronted by a new Corpus Derelicti, who claimed to remember him. Without wasting time, the Punisher sliced off his right hand, then snapped his spine with a bone-crunching kick.

Comments: Created by John Ostrander, Tom Lyle, and Robert Jones.

It could be that Corpus Derelicti was, as he claimed, a corpse-- reanimated by cybernetic technology.

It may even be that the two Corpus Derelictis were, in fact, "one"-- that is, if they both came from the same computer program.

The Mutant Liberation Front has an entry in Marvel Legacy: The 1990s Handbook. Both Corpus Derelictis received real names in the MLF profile in OHOTMU A-Z HC#8.
