(Punisher II#10) - While working out in his apartment he is working out, Coppersmith was interrupted by his neighbour knocking on the door, trying to make him shut up. Alfred picked up his knife and went out of his apartment and began to hammer on the neighboor's door. When he heard that Zum Corporation had pulled their Zumitrin products off the market he thought "Morons, they think Zumitrin is the only thing they make", and picked up a bottle of mouthwash. His neighboor Cindy knocked on the door, and told him that he shouldn't threaten Mr. Bates. Alfred told her that he appreciated her concern, but just because they had dinner once it didn't give her the right to barge into his apartment. He told her that he was busy, and closed the door. Later he heard Daredevil on the tv, appealing to him to turn himself in. Alfred said to himself "Turn myself in... @*#%! I'll see that corporation bankrupt yet."

(Daredevil I#257 (fb) - BTS) - Alfred Coppersmith was an employee of the Zum corporation, the producer of Zumitrin, but when the company began to use computers, Alfred wasn't good at working with them and was fired. (Daredevil I#257) - Coppersmith continued his work out while talking to himself, being bitter at the Zum Corporation for firing him.

(Punisher I#10 - BTS) - After Coppersmith left his apartment the Punisher, disguised as a plumber, came into Alfred's apartment. Although he wasn't home Cindy asked him to come inside because she had troubles with her sink. When Alfred came home the Punisher told Cindy that he was a federal agent, and oredered her to stay inside. He took his gun and was about to leave Cindy's apartment, when she shouted to Alfred that he needed to be careful.

(Punisher II#10) - Out in the hall the Punisher was met by Alfred holding a gun in his hand. The two of them began to fight, but Punisher was attacked by Cindy as well, giving Alfred time to get out in the open. The two of them continued their fight, and Alfred was defeated.

(Punisher II#10/Daredevil I#257) - Punisher was about to throw him down from the building when Daredevil appeared and stopped him. Alfred watched as the two fought each other. When Daredevil managed to take down Punisher he asked where Coppersmith was. Alfred answered "Right behind you", holding a gun in his hand. Daredevil used his billy club to knock the gun out of his hand, and knocked Alfred down, taking him to the police.

(Daredevil I#257) - Matt Murdock visited Alfred Coppersmith in jail, informing him that he would take his case and defend him. He told him that he could be educated in jail. Alfred asked him if they could teach him computers, and Matt told him that he believed they could. Alfred accepted Matt as his lawyer.

This story is one of the few where you see the same story but from different viewpoints: the Punisher issue deals with Punisher's side of the story, while the Daredevil issue deals with Daredevil's side of the story.
