History: (Marvel: Heroes and Legends '96/Fantastic Four Annual#3 (BTS))- Miriam Birchwood attended the wedding of Reed Richards and Susan Storm. She stayed with Susan Storm behind-the-scenes of the proceedings, hoping to learn what the Richards' honeymoon plans were, but Susan was put-off by Birchwood's callousness towards the fight raging outside.
Birchwood was assaulted by a spy drone sent by Dr. Doom to attack Susan, but the Invisible Girl destroyed it with her force field. Doom appeared in a hologram to Susan, gloating that her teammates would be defeated by the agents of Hydra who had invaded the building, but the Hydra agents were all defeated. Birchwood joined the Invisible Girl in mocking Doom's plans, then brought her her Fantastic Four costume so that she could head into battle.
