Powers/Abilities: Vlad The Impaler 2099 possessed wings which allowed him flight, golden spikes which he threw, and metal tentacles which replaced his ribs. With the metal tentacle ribs he could do a death-hug, which would kill people and stuff.

History: (2099 Unlimited#9) Vlad the Impaler was contracted by an unnamed megacorp to kidnap an O'Hara for his clients. For some reason, he attacked Miguel O'Hara (Spider-Man 2099's secret identity) as he was being escorted to a safe location by Tyler Stone. After destroying his transportation, Vlad inspected Miguel... And realized he wasn't the right O'Hara. Vlad dropped O'Hara to his seeming death, but being Spider-Man 2099 and all, that didn't really work. Vlad then found his target amongst some Thorites who were fussing over their son. Swooping down and capturing the boy, Vlad threw a golden spike at his father, which Spider-Man 2099 narrowly stopped. As Spider-Man 2099 gave chase, Vlad left the child on the roof of a building and went into combat with Spider-Man, nearly killing him with his death-hug. However, while Vlad was boasting, Spidey grabbed one of his golden stakes and impaled him on it. After some slight reprogramming, Vlad flew straight up at full speed, while Spider-Man 2099 rescued the kid... His name, Gedde O'Hara.
