History: (Fantastic Four I#15) - Blackie Skarr was summoned to New York City by criminal genius the Mad Thinker, who wished to unite all criminal gangs under his leadership. Upon hearing the Thinker's idea of becoming king of New York, the skeptical Skarr decided not to join the Thinker and prepared to leave. The Thinker warned that Skarr would rethink his decision in exactly eighteen seconds but Skarr left anyway and was immediately arrested outside by the NYPD. As the police pulled their guns and handcuffs out, Skarr thought about how the Thinker had been right and how much of a chump he was for not joining the Thinker.
