This was enough for Hobie to give up Julia Carpenter as the person tipping him off.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man II#8 (fb) - BTS) - Mindy and Hobie decided to work on their relationship, as he'd promised her that he was done being the Prowler. She surprised him with a visit one day and saw the costume laid out. Hurt at his lies, she walked away.

(Amazing Spider-Man V#88.BEY) - Hobie shared with Mindy about his recent adventures as the Hornet, and he thought about ways to be a more effective hero, telling her about Yasmin Adir, a girl who'd been mutated during a hero battle, and he wanted to use Fairgray Pay to help her, but they then got word that Fairgray had been purchased by the Beyond Corporation. Hobie received 15 million dollars and planned another helping app, but Mindy helped him realize that Beyond was not on the up-and-up.
