History: (Official Marvel Index to the Fantastic Four I#2 - BTS) - Featherstone was a wealthy man.

(Fantastic Four I#30 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Featherstone joined a club.

(Fantastic Four I#30) - When news that the recently escaped Diablo had miracle potions, Featherstone grabbed his hat and prepared to leave the club. Another club member asked if Featherstone was leaving early and Featherstone replied in the affirmative, further remarking that he would pay any price for the chance to obtain Diablo's immortality serum.

Comments: Created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Chic Stone.

While it can be assumed Featherstone was wealthy in Fantastic Four I#30, based on what he is wearing, his willingness to pay any price for immortality and the assumption that the "club" he is part of is a country club, his wealth was not definitively confirmed until his mention in the entry on Fantastic Four I#30 in the Official Marvel Index to the Fantastic Four I#2 (1986).

Featherstone's eye color was impossible to determine, as he was only seen in glasses that obscured his eyes.

During the Fantastic Four I#30, we see a Chronicle newspaper with the headline "Diablo Youth Elixir Proven Worthless! Aged Millionaire Taken to Hospital After a Severe--" and it makes me wonder if that headline was meant to reference an unseen fate of Featherstone, who sought Diablo's immortality serum. Of course, we have no confirmation that Diablo's immortality serum and his youth elixir are the same potion but Featherstone was an elderly, wealthy man (an "aged millionaire" perhaps?) and he did seek long time, which could possibly have been granted by a youth serum. It's just speculation of my part but it sure makes me wonder...it could have easily been a different millionaire who sought to be young again, not to live forever. MANY wealthy people were seeking Diablo's potions during the story...the other newspapers we see on that panel do reference others we see who acquired Diablo's potions such as the military and their Protecto-Dome provided by Diablo and a desert that had been made fertile by Diablo's potions.
