History: (Fantastic Four I Annual#6 (fb) - BTS/Official Marvel Index to the Fantastic Four I#5 - BTS) - Dr. Molinari was a specialist in obstetrics.

(Fantastic Four I#78) - While Susan Richards was in the hospital pending the birth of her son, Dr. Molinari and another doctor ran tests on her and Molinari came across an odd prognosis. Asking the other doctor if he agreed with the prognosis, Molinari discussed with the doctor how to tell Susan of the situation. Susan's friend Crystal demanded to know what was going on and Dr. Molinari assured Crystal it was nothing to be alarmed about yet and the other doctor explained how there were flashes showing up in Susan's blood cells.

(Fantastic Four I#79) - Dr. Molinari was present with his colleague when Reed Richards stopped by the hospital to review the flashes in Susan Richards' blood cells.

(Fantastic Four I Annual#6) - Crystal waited outside Susan Richards' room and eventually grew impatient, demanding to speak with Dr. Molinari about what was wrong. Commenting that Crystal should not be in the testing room, Dr. Molinari nonetheless admitted that Crystal would find out sooner or later and decided to show her the flashes in Susan's blood cells caused by the cosmic radiation in Susan's body. Explaining the flashes to Crystal, Molinari expressed concern that if the flashes were not brought under control, it might mean death for Susan and her unborn child. During a later press conference about Susan's condition, Dr. Molinari was brought forth to explain to the press the matter of Susan's blood cells. After revealing the radioactive flashes in Susan's blood, Molinari was swamped with press questions about an antidote and whether it was being searched for and Molinari assured the public that an antidote was being sought out. After the rest of the Fantastic Four returned from the Negative Zone with the Cosmic Control Rod to balance the radiation in Susan's blood, Dr. Molinari emerged from Susan's room alongside Crystal, another doctor and the press to announce that Susan had given birth to a healthy baby boy. Seconds later, Molinari shook hands with Reed Richards, who thanked Molinari for everything he had done while the rest of the Fantastic Four celebrated the new baby.

Comments: Created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott.

Dr. Molinari's hair was mistakenly colored black in Fantastic Four I Annual#6.

During his appearances in Fantastic Four I#78-79, Dr. Molinari was only shown as a doctor. In Fantastic Four I Annual#6, it is mentioned that Molinari was a specialist but the field of medicine was not mentioned. It was not until the entry on Fantastic Four I#78 in the Official Marvel Index to the Fantastic Four I#5 that his field specialization was officially confirmed as obstetrics.
