(Maverick II#9 (fb) - BTS) - An heiress to her family fortune, Ginetta
Lucia Barsalini became a spy and was assigned to marry Christoph Nord,
a German operative.
(Maverick II#2 (fb)) - While recuperating from injuries in an Italian hospital, after a fight with the Confessor, Christoph Nord met nurse Ginetta. A year later they married, with Jean Luc Vivant serving as Nord's best man. The wedding was attended by Major Arthur Barrington.
(Maverick II#2 (fb) - BTS) - For the next three years, Ginetta reported to her superiors, who used the intel against Nord when they saw fit. In one mission, Nord saw many of his peers in Cell Six die, including Cruz, Reinhold, O'Malley, Frank, and Roxxie. Meanwhile, Ginetta realized she was pregnant.
(Maverick II#2 (fb)) - Realizing Ginetta was a double agent for the Russians, Nord returned home and pulled a gun on her. Ginetta laughed at him, bragging about how she'd played him for so long. Ginetta drew a knife and rushed at Nord, but he shot her. As she died, she revealed that she was pregnant.
