History:
(Savage Sword of Conan I#22/5 (fb) - BTS) - Living in the village of Nieder-Beerbach, Annemarie was the secret lover of the warrior Georg von Frankenstein.

Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme#37 (fb)) - ...later known as the Scheusslischer Lindwurm...

(Savage Sword of Conan I#22/5 (fb)) - ...arose from the Katzenborn -- where the brook/spring welled up -- in the mountains to terrorize the nearby village of Nieder-Beerbach, devouring its inhabitants.

   Georg was off fighting a war, and the in desperation, the villagers hoped to appease the monster's hunger by sacrificing the valley's fairest maiden, Annemarie.

(Savage Sword of Conan I#22/5 (fb) - BTS) - Georg returned that very same day, and upon learning this, he swore on his knightly honor that he would save Annemarie. 

(Savage Sword of Conan I#22/5 (fb) - BTS) <The Day of St. Lucia (December 13), 1531 A.D.> - The dragon slew Annemarie.

 
(Savage Sword of Conan I#22/5 (fb)) - When Georg arrived and saw the dragon with Annemarie's corpse, he swore to avenge his beloved's death. Georg mortally wounded the dragon, but it fatally stung him before its death. 

(Savage Sword of Conan I#22/5 (fb) - BTS) - Georg's body was brought out of the Katzenborn valley for a Christian entombment in a crypt inside a chapel in Nieder-Beerbach. 

    A stone effigy of Annemarie was carved on the chapel wall in a place of prominence in honor of her being Georg's lover.
