History:
(Excalibur I#49) - A crosstime flux caused a blurring of the interface between Earth-616 and Earth-92459.

More specifically between the basement of Excalibur's lighthouse home and the X-Plorers' X-Cave, just as the latter team were rushing to go somewhere.

Spotting Excalibur (from her perspective) suddenly appearing in X-Plorers' base, Sue asked Reed who the strangers were, but he told her to ignore them, informing her they were merely transient optical aberrations caused by localized tangential temporal frequency compression.

Hearing this mouthful, the Thing loudly announced he was glad he hadn't said that.

(Uncanny X-Men I#462) - A reality warp on Earth-616 initiated by the Scarlet Witch triggered a reality tsunami that swept across the multiverse until it crashed into Otherworld.

The Thing and Human Torch of the X-Plorers were among the many beings caught up in the interdimensional tidal wave, swept through Otherworld, and deposited who knows where.

Comments: Created by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer.

Reed and Sue are named in Excalibur I#49, but we don't know for sure their codenames of surnames; while it might be reasonably safe to assume Reed is still Richards, there's no way to tell if Sue was his wife or girlfriend. The Thing and Human Torch displayed the same powers as their 616 counterparts, and were confirmed as sharing the same codenames too in The Official Index to the Uncanny X-Men's entry for UXM#462, which also revealed their team's name.
