History:
(Daredevil I#332 (fb) - BTS) - Simon Valk was a Hydra agent with an impressive kill record, having killed over 50 men. In the name of anarchy, he'd tortured and maimed many others. Valk was left to guard a base after Strucker and the villain team, System Crash, took Captain America away.
(Daredevil I#332) - Valk and other agents were assigned by Baron Strucker to hunt down Daredevil in the New York Botanical Gardens. Wearing night vision goggles and carrying high-powered weaponry, Valk screamed in pain when Daredevil overloaded their goggles with an electric flash, then the hero punched many of them. Valk retreated into an abandoned Hydra base, but Daredevil captured him, and violently questioned Valk about Strucker's plans with System Crash. Valk wondered what he would tell Strucker to justify his failure.
