(Bishop: Xavier Security Enforcer#1 - BTS) - Selden Seymour, a normal human, grew up in the dystopian future of Earth-1191.

(Bishop: Xavier Security Enforcer#1 (fb) - BTS) - Seymour grew up despising mutantkind, blaming them for the current state of the world. Growing more radical he idolized Bolivar Trask, the creator of the Sentinels and even took his name as his own. Going by Selden Trask he became the leader of the Human Defense League whose main goal was to discredit mutants.

(Bishop: Xavier Security Enforcer#1 (fb) - BTS) - Learning of the death of J. Jerome Knox (in reality a fake body of the villainous Rook) a human who'd worked to ensure human and mutant coexistence, Selden Trask saw an opportunity to openly attack the X.S.E. and sought out the media.

(Bishop: Xavier Security Enforcer#1) - Selden Trask was interviewed by local news anchor June and called for the immediate dismantling of the X.S.E. calling the mutant police force a state sponsored terrorist group. Trask even called for the recommence of branding mutants until a more permanent solution could be found. The broadcast was viewed by X.S.E. officers Hecate, Bishop, Shard and Malcolm.

(Bishop: Xavier Security Enforcer#2 - BTS) - Unbeknownst to Trask he was being targeted by the Rook and his group of terrorist mutants, Fanatix. The Rook believed that Trask's death would lead to a new war between humans and mutants. To do so the Rook and Fanatix tried convincing New York's violent dregs to dress up as X.S.E.'s officers until the real X.S.E. officers interrupted the meeting.

(Bishop: Xavier Security Enforcer#3 - BTS) - Bishop and the X.S.E. successfully arrested the Rook after which the X.S.E. discussed the mission. Commanding officer Hecate reminded the team that although they stopped the Rook from assassinating Trask he'd still wanted them dead.

Comments: Created by John Ostrander, Steve Epting and Mark Prudeaux.

Trask's Human Defense League is similar to the Friends of Humanity on Earth-616.
