History: (Unbelievable Gwenpool I#19 (fb)) - Miles Morales was a costumed adventurer known as Spider-Man on Earth-17217. Outside of his crimefighting life, Miles was married and had a child. One fateful day, Gwenpool, who claimed to originate in a universe where events of Miles' world were told in fictional comic books and who was considered to be largely a nuisance, turned against the superhero community. She started by unmasking Miles in front of the entire world, which immediately led to Spider-Man's enemies killing his entire family, which included Miles' parents, his wife and their child. Gwenpool then continued to reveal secrets of other costumed heroes, leading to the biggest superhero war of all time.

(Unbelievable Gwenpool I#19 (fb) - BTS) - Miles and other superheroes tried to go after this evil Gwenpool but she was revealed to have reality-manipulating powers, which allowed her to escape simply by leaving the bounds of normal reality. When it was discovered that her civilian identity of Gwen Poole had a brother, who was likewise not from Earth-17217, a plan was formulated to stop the evil Gwenpool before she ever became a threat.

(Unbelievable Gwenpool I#18) - Accompanied by a Doombot named Vincent Doonan and Terrible Eye, the latest to wear the mantle of a Sorcerer Supreme, Miles traveled back in time to the early days of Gwenpool's career, arriving in the common past of reality-616. The three of them met Gwen's brother Teddy, who had just witnessed his sister massacre several armed men without hesitation or mercy. Explaining that Teddy's sister had ruined his life and would do much worse things in the future, Miles asked Teddy for help.

(Unbelievable Gwenpool I#19 (fb) - BTS) - Locating the counterparts of Gwen and Teddy's parents in reality-616, Terrible Eye, Vincent and Miles paid to rent their house and created inside it a portal meant to transport both Teddy and Gwen back to their home universe. However, due to the unique nature of their plane of origin, the siblings' home reality could not be reached and instead, the attempt transported the siblings into a newly-created pocket universe, from which the younger, heroic Gwen living on Earth-616 eventually emerged.

(Unbelievable Gwenpool I#19) - When the younger Gwenpool living on Earth-616 appeared in front of them, Terrible Eye and Doonan were forced to explain themselves while Miles had become angry seeing how their plan had failed. The heroic Gwenpool then tried to run and the others gave chase, their aim neutralized by her reality-warping powers. The younger Gwen teleported from New York City to a wooded area, where Terrible Eye was able to freeze her and suggested searching the Astral Plane for a way to strip Gwenpool of her powers but at that moment, Miles had reached his breaking point and kidnapped the heroic Gwen, webbing her to a nearby cliff. He then expressed his intent to murder her but felt the need to explain why and thus revealed to Gwen the crimes committed by her future evil counterpart. Unfortunately, this meant that the evil Gwenpool appeared in Miles' flashback, from which she was able to utilize her reality-bending powers enter into the present day reality-616, appearing in a giant form that swatted Miles away like a fly.

(Unbelievable Gwenpool I#20) - Miles used his webbing to slow down his fall and joined Doonan and Terrible Eye in attacking the evil Gwenpool, who attempted to deceive her younger counterpart into believing that she was the heroic one and that it was the others from Earth-17217 who were evil. The deception failed and, to show her younger counterpart how cool being evil could be, the evil Gwenpool shot first Terrible Eye and Vincent then Miles after scrambling his spider-sense, killing all three. However, "editorial mandate" stated that Gwenpool could not be the one to kill Spider-Man and Miles awoke in his bed back in the reality of Earth-17217, recounting his death at the hands of the evil Gwenpool as a terrible dream that he had.

Shortly after killing the other visitors from Earth-17217, the evil Gwenpool was herself seemingly erased from existence when the younger Gwen, horrified by what she had witnessed, refused to become her. This decision changed the future, diverging Earth-17217 from the history of Earth-616 (see comments), displacing the evil Gwenpool and causing the bodies of Vincent and Sarah to similarly disappear. Later that day, the young, heroic Gwenpool contacted Miles Morales of Earth-1610, who was presently residing in the reality of Earth-616, and mentioned an encounter with his future self, stating that he had no reason to worry about her, much to the younger Miles' confusion.

Comments: Created by Christopher Hastings and Gurihiru.

The names of Miles' parents are never mentioned in the story but, due to the divergent nature of his reality, are presumed to be the same as his Earth-1610 counterpart.

Despite being an alternate version of another character, Miles' weight and height cannot assumed to be the same as his Earth-1610 counterpart due to this version being much older, depicted as both taller and more muscular than reality-1610 Miles.

While the characters from Earth-17217 did disappear from Earth-616 when Gwenpool refused to become evil, the entire timeline was not actually erased (as the story suggested) but rather, merely diverged from the history of Earth-616.

To further clarify, both the evil Gwenpool residing on Earth-17217 and the younger, heroic Gwenpool residing on Earth-616 were not native to those realities. Both claimed to be from the real world of Earth-1218, which is incorrect as the real world does not interact with comics beyond reading them. Whatever the reality the original Gwenpool originated from, Gwenpool's actions diverged various Gwenpool counterparts, much like the time traveler Kang. --Proto-Man
Sidenote: Because Gwen does not actually come from Earth-1218, I personally have long assumed her to come from Earth-38119, another reality where Marvel heroes only exist as characters in the comic books. This, of course, is a total speculation unsupported by the story, which is why I never put it in the profile to begin with. --HBK123
