History:
(Marc Spector: Moon Knight46 (fb) - BTS) - Krak claimed to be a member of a hidden race of superhuman beings. He went to prison for an unrevealed crime and was at some point transferred to the new prison in Hartford, Connecticut known as Brinkstone Penitentiary. It is unknown when, but the old criminal "Pops" took him under his wing and Krak began only to listen to him.

Krak escaped his cell when John DeZoan disrupted the automated cell lock system with hew new powers. During the ensuing riot he attacked the guards.

(Marc Spector: Moon Knight46) - When Moon Knight came to the aid of the prison guards Krak got a chance to get hold of Moon Knight from behind, putting him into an unbreakable bearhug. "Pops" told Moon Knight about Krak's alleged origin and his own past with Moon Knight. When a part of the demonic entity possessing Moon Knight at the time jumped from his body (like a chestburster), Krak lost his grip on Moon Knight. He fell victim to the demonic creature when it jumped through Moon Knight's body and then ripped his way through Krak, who was still standing behind Moon Knight, as well.

Comments: Created by Terry Kavanagh (writer), James Fry (pencils) & Chris Ivy (inks).

There is nothing aside from Krak's own claims that made him out to be more than a human that went through intense bodybuilding to gain his body, though there are numerous superhuman races on Earth that Krak could belong to. Moon Knight himself called Krak's claims pure imagination.

We never learned the actual name of "Pops", which was a derogatory term used by Moon Knight. It is possible that he was from an actual story, but I don't know who he was supposed to be.

"Pops" should not be confused with:

"Pops"

(Moon Knight: Marc Spector#46 (fb) - BTS) - "Pops" killed a guard during a bank robbery years ago. He was caught by Moon Knight and went to prison without parole.

At some point "Pops" was transferred to a new prison in Hartford, Connecticut the Brinkstone Penitentiary. He took Krak under his wing and Krak started to only listen to him, even telling "Pops" about his background.

"Pops" escaped his cell when John DeZoan disrupted the automated cell lock system with his new powers. During the ensuing riot he stole a gun from a guard.

(Moon Knight: Marc Spector#46) - While Krak had Moon Knight in a bearhug, "Pops" threatened Moon Knight with a gun, explaining how Krak always claimed he was part of a hidden race of superhuman beings. He also told Moon Knight how he still remembered the day Moon Knight sent him to prison. A portion of the demonic entity possessing Moon Knight at the time jumped from his body (like a chestburster) and bit the through the gun "Pops" was holding. It then jumped back into Moon Knight's body, ripping through him and Krak, who was standing behind him. Moon Knight then asked "Pops" to tell everyone else to drop their weapon and "Pops" did.

SNAPP SIMONE

(Marc Spector: Moon Knight46 (fb) - BTS) - Simone was a hitman, who eventually ended up imprisoned at Brinkstone Penitentiary in Connecticut.

Simone escaped his cell when John DeZoan disrupted the automated cell lock system with hew new powers. During the ensuing riot he attacked the guards and got his hands on a sniper rifle.

(Marc Spector: Moon Knight46) - Moon Knight came to the aid of the guards and got into Snapp Simone's crosshair. Simone was thinking what it could mean for his career to kill an Avenger. He was sure it would make him an infamous, rich, international hitman. He paused to appreciate the historic significance a bit longer before he was knocked out from behind with a TV camera by TV reporter Kim Hong. His rifle accidentally went off, but the shot only hit the ceiling.
