History: (Daredevil I#161 (fb) – BTS) – K.O. worked at Fogwell's Gym, where he saw Battlin' Jack Murdock fight over the years and befriended him. When Murdock worked for the Fixer (Roscoe Sweeney), K.O. advised against it but saw him do it to keep his honor in front of his son, Matt. Jack was later killed.

(Daredevil I#161) – Ben Urich asked around about Murdock and Louie referred him to his friend, K.O. Urich interviewed K.O. about his association with Murdock.
