History:

(All-New Wolverine#33 (fb) - BTS) - Laura Kinney appears to have a similar history to that of her Earth-616 counterpart, being a female clone of Wolverine (Logan), with several sister clones, including Gabby Kinney and Bellona. Initially trained to kill, Laura freed herself of programming and adopted the codename Wolverine as a heroic adventurer after her mentor, the original Wolverine, died. She enjoyed a romantic relationship with fellow mutant Hellion for several years until the manipulations of the Latverian despot, Dr. Doom, reached a climax.

(All-New Wolverine#33 (fb)) - The Doom World War saw an army of villains commanded by Dr. Doom, who led a coordinated attack
on heroes in an effort to to take over the world. Laura's sister, Gabby (as Honey Badger) defended Laura from the Lizard as she cradled Hellion, fallen in battle.

(All-New Wolverine#33 (fb) - BTS) - Eventually, the heroes won and peace reigned across the world, with Dr. Doom shuttered in his kingdom of Latveria. Occasional skirmishes were orchestrated by Doom using villains he had previously captured (these were former S.H.I.E.L.D. prisoners, including Bellona, whom Doom kept hidden).

In one encounter, Thanos stepped on Gabby, and Laura had to scoop her up in jars; Gabby eventually recovered.

Laura retired from the role of Wolverine, passing that mantle to Gabby. The people of Madripoor chose Laura to be their Queen and she became the Head of State of a prosperous and advanced nation.

(All-New Wolverine#35 (fb) - BTS) - Dr. Doom sought immortality by transferring his consciousness to healthier bodies and saw Laura as the best candidate. He used Bellona as bait and let advanced Latverian guns make their way to Madripoor on the black market to get Laura's attention.

(All-New Wolverine#33 (fb) - BTS) - Laura developed a degenerative condition linked to her original cloning that kept her in constant pain, and secretly had Gabby and her children tested; Gabby and her two children were clear. Laura kept it secret, but consulted the Sorcerer Supreme and Dr. Valeria Richards, but was told she only had months left to live. Laura made a "bucket list": kill Doom and save Bellona.

(All-New Wolverine#33) - Laura told Gabby of her condition, who became part of the mission without hesitation. The next night, Laura broke into the White House to speak to US President Kamala Khan, who, given their long friendship, freely gave information that Bellona may be in Latveria. S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Maria Hill soon arrived and insisted on joining Laura's mission. After interrogating a Latverian gun-runner, Laura, Gabby and Maria Hill (plus a secretly hidden Wasp) arrived at the almost impenetrable Doom Dome covering Latveria.

(All-New Wolverine#34) - The small team were soon joined by Captain Marvel (Danvers) and Hawkeye (Bishop), whom Gabby had secretly called in for additional assistance. They all entered Latveria via an underwater passage, only to find external technology and communications no longer functioned under the Doom Dome (which also blocked out sunlight). Soon inside the citadel, they were discovered by blanket surveillance and oversized Doombots were dispatched against them. The Doombots were quickly overwhelmed, with Captain Marvel throwing Laura in a "fastball special". The Wasp, permanently shrunk, took over a Doombot in the attack. Laura tried to stop a Doombot blast, but it went through her and killed Hill.

(All-New Wolverine#35 (fb)) - The team followed Laura's lead to combine stealth and destruction on Doom's castle, with Gabby (Laura now dubbing her Honey Badger), Hawkeye and Wasp/"Waspbot" directed to free any surviving prisoners while Laura and Captain Marvel would smash Doom's throne room. However, Captain Marvel was quickly blasted underground by Doom and Laura surrounded by Doombots. Seeing Thor's hammer Mjolnir, kept there as a trophy, Laura tried to lift it, but could not, so she sliced the head off of the human-sized Doombot masquerading as Doom. Laura's arms were held by two other Doombots as the real Doom stepped forward and sought to transfer his consciousness into Laura's body, discovering too late she was also dying. Doom's consciousness retreated, but Laura used her foot claw to impale Doom, killing him. The rest of Laura's team arrived with the freed prisoners (including Bellona, Daredevil, Thor, Rocket, Spider-Man (Miles Morales) and a female Captain America) and destroyed the Doombots. Gabby rushed to her near-dead sister.

(All-New Wolverine#35) - Laura began to recover and told Wasp to deactivate the Doom Dome to let sunshine back into Latveria. Despite Laura's melodramatic willingness to surrender to death now that the world had been made a better place, Gabby refused to give up hope and promised to seek out every scientist, alien, magician, witch and god they knew to help Laura beat her condition.

Comments: X-23 (Laura Kinney) originally created by Craig Kyle & Christopher Yost (writers). Earth-18366 version adapted by Tom Taylor (writer), Ramon Rosanas (pencils & inks).

Interestingly, in the opening story Gabby has the mantle of Wolverine, but in Laura's mission in Latveria, Laura refers to Gabby as Honey Badger, suggesting that Laura had reclaimed the title of Wolverine one last time. Gabby doesn't question this as Laura displays strong leadership in this storyline.

I can't be sure of the point of divergence for Earth-18366 (will Laura-616 eventually have the same degenerative condition?), but the original Wolverine (Logan) is dead, with Laura initially wearing that mantle. On this Earth, Doom's manipulations eventually led to him pooling the nefarious talents of various super-powered villains in a coordinated surprise attack against the heroes, much like that orchestrated in the "Old Man Logan" storyline, hence the "Old Woman Laura" tag for this story arc, but with that engaging Tom Taylor twist.

The extended relatives from her original clone pool are assumed.

CLARIFICATIONS :
Laura Kinney of Earth-18366 has no known connections to:

Hellion

Hellion (Julian Keller) was likely very similar to his Earth-616 counterpart with mutant telekinetic powers and prosthetic hands. He and Laura enjoyed a relationship for several years before he died during the Doom World War.

Kamala Khan

Much like her Earth-616 counterpart, Kamala Khan was initially the Inhuman hero known as Ms. Marvel with limited shapeshifting powers. Later, she fought alongside Laura Kinney and other heroes in the Doom World War. Many years after, with peace achieved globally except for the shuttered despotic state of Latveria, she was elected President of the USA and maintained her friendship with Laura. But Dr. Doom sought immortality by taking over Laura's body, not realizing she was near death too, so he laid a trap for Laura, secretly sowing information around the world, including to Khan, about where Laura's clone sister, Bellona, was located. Close to death yet hoping to save Bellona, Laura called in her favors, including from Khan, and broke into the White House to speak with the US President, who was unimpressed, but gave the information freely. Minutes later, S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Maria Hill arrived with security and advised she would assist.
