History:
(Daredevil I#319 (fb) - BTS) - A voodoo practitioner in the Louisiana swamp called himself the Hogun, and he became known for procuring potions and charms for those who could pay. When a military man came to the Hogun for a love potion, Hogun instead withdrew military secrets from the man's brain, learning about Project: About Face (a government mind control project). Hogun then killed the man, and made plans to procure the secrets for himself, to give himself greater power. He summoned Hellspawn, the demonic Daredevil doppelganger, seeking to control him.
(Daredevil I#319) - The Hogun kept Hellspawn trapped within the pentagram, telling the creature that he was his god now. Hogun ordered Hellspawn to track down the military secrets, but Hellspawn instead escaped the pentagram and attacked the Hogun, using a bone from the demon's own leg to kill him.
