History:
(Daredevil III#28 (fb) - BTS) - Years ago, Nate Hackett was among the boys who teased Matt Murdock for studying all the time. Nate found Matt pretentious and always bragging, and he felt like Matt thought he was too good for him and the others. They chanted the name Daredevil at him. Nate's face was the last one Matt saw before he went blind. After Matt's accident, Nate was ridiculed for having teased Matt, and he ended up on a dark path as a teenager, committing criminal acts until he ended up joining the Sons of the Serpent, enjoying the brotherhood, but he quit when things got political.

(Daredevil III#28 (fb) - BTS) - Hackett worked as a radio engineer, and committed criminal acts at times to supplement his income. When he saw Matt outed in the newspapers as Daredevil, his childhood guilt went away, but then Hackett was arrested on a false claim that tied him to the Sons of the Serpent.

(Daredevil III#28) - Nate Hackett showed up to Matt Murdock's office and the secretary Alyssa let him in. Matt was shocked to see Nate and he knocked him down on his back after Nate called him Daredevil. Nate told Matt about his past and asked for help with his recent case, saying he had had nothing to do with the Serpents and that he was innocent. Later, Matt visited Hackett and told him that he couldn't take his case, but that he would help Hackett learn to represent himself. After careful preparation, Hackett defended himself in court, claiming false arrest, and he was doing well before the judge took out a gun and shot Hackett in the courtroom.

(Daredevil III#29) - Hackett lay bleeding as the authorities and medical professionals ran into the room, many of them members of the Sons of the Serpent. Matt exited and Daredevil entered, saving Hackett from one man suffocating him before he helped paramedic Jimmy escape the Serpents. Daredevil then evacuated the courthouse. Hackett got medical care and Matt promised to help with the bills, saying he planned to take down the Serpents.

(Daredevil III#34) - Healed up, Hackett completed a radio transmission installation using special equipment from the Avengers, while Daredevil, working with Kirsten McDuffie, put together a plan to defeat the Serpents. Matt had Kirsten read the magic name of an ancient deity into a transmission to convince the Serpents that Daredevil had sacred pages from the Darkhold. After Daredevil departed, Kirsten spoke back into the mic, convincing New York City civilians to turn against the Serpents. When Kirsten was nearly shot, Nate saved her life, taking her to Daredevil for safety.

Daredevil defeated the Sons of the Serpent in Daredevil III#36.

I wonder if Hackett knew Stymie.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Nate Hackett should not be confused with:

Jimmy

(Daredevil III#29) - A paramedic, Jimmy rushed to the courthouse after reports that Nate Hackett had been shot. Police and court officials were in the room and Daredevil rushed in, claiming many of them were the Sons of the Serpent. The judge forced a gun into Jimmy's hand, but Jimmy simply held it limply while Daredevil fought against the Sons, then the hero got Jimmy to safety. After finding a bomb in the building, Daredevil sent Jimmy to warn away civilians. Daredevil then evacuated the courthouse.
