History: (Back Issue I#111) - Peter Parker hailed from Brooklyn, New York and later became something of a hipster after getting his arms tattooed and ears pierced and stretched, wearing a spider-themed scarf and winter hat, a flannel shirt, tight rolled up jeans and sneakers without socks as Spider-Man.

Comments: Created by Karl Heitmueller, Jr.

Back Issue is a magazine published by TwoMorrows Publishing focusing on articles, interviews and themes of Bronze Age comic books. Issue #111 (where this "What If?" scenario originated)'s theme was alternate realities and occasionally, Back Issue includes a two-page comic strip by Karl Heitmueller, Jr. called Prince Street News. In the case of #111, the two-page comic was titled "Alternate Alternate Realities" and featured several panels of unlikely and humorous alternate realities. In the case of the one in this profile, the gag was "What If...Peter Parker were from Brooklyn instead of Queens?" In addition, there is a copyright notice in the Prince Street News article stating that the Spider-Man character is a copyright of Marvel, making me think that he indeed is part of Marvel's multiverse.

Very little was revealed about this reality's Peter Parker since his story was literally one panel (which you see in this profile's image). The copyright notice in the comic lists Parker as Spider-Man so he did use the alias of Spider-Man in this reality and, given his bracelets & spider-themed accessories, it seems to reason that he was some sort of superhero but we don't know for sure that he gained powers as the result of a spider bite. We also do not know any of his affiliations, enemies, relatives, etc. His physical stats (namely his height, weight and eye color) are presumed/approximated from his Earth-616 counterpart though we do see his beard to be brown in the story.

Profile by Proto-Man.
