Marvel visited Cal and Murray's Italian Cuisine, where they sat outside on crates in the rustic atmosphere while Cal and Murray serenaded them with music.

The story in which Spider-Mole and Hss. Marvel visit Cal and Murray's Italian Cuisine was glimpsed on Earth-616  in a fan fiction story by that reality's Zac Gorman and Jay Fosgitt.

The name of Cal and Murray is a play on words for "Calamari."
