History: (Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends cartoon episode - "7 Little Superheroes" (fb) -BTS) - At one point, Shanna the Jungle Queen crossed paths with the Chameleon and foiled the criminal's plans. She did this enough to earn the villain's hatred.

(Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends - "7 Little Superheroes") - Shanna arrived at Wolf Island Manor alongside other heroes Doctor Strange, Namor the Sub-Mariner and the Spider-Friends after receiving an invitation from an unidentified host. Shanna introduced herself to Firestar when the mutant heroine wondered about her identity. When the Chameleon identified himself as their host and intended executioner, the assembled heroes split up to find the Chameleon. Shanna took to the mountains that surrounded the Island. Perched upon a high peak, she failed to see the Chameleon pulling a lever disguised as a tree branch which triggered a rock slide. Shanna was sent hurtling down the mountain but she managed to send a telepathic message to Doctor Strange as she fell.

She was soon trapped in a cave and the Chameleon disguised himself as her, trying to pass himself off as her to the other invited heroes. Shanna eventually managed to crawl out the rubble when the other heroes entered the caves under the mountain and she returned in time to see the heroes and the disguised Chameleon encounter the demon robot. She remained silent when Doctor Strange was captured by the supposed demon. Shanna then followed Iceman and Spider-Man when the Chameleon's ruse was discovered and she was still behind them when the Chameleon activated another booby trap, triggering an earthquake which knocked her off the land bridge she was on and sent her falling into what appeared to be a lava pool. Somehow captured again, Shanna was placed in a cage alongside Doctor Strange and Captain America but she was freed when the revived Sub-Mariner smashed the control panel. When the Chameleon tried to blow up the Island, Shanna was carried off to safety by Doctor Strange. After Spider-Man captured the Chameleon, Shanna took over flying his helicopter as the Island erupted into fire.

According to a few online sources, Shanna was voiced by Janet Waldo.

Her stats are from her 616 counterpart.

Shanna seemingly possessed at least some low-level telepathic skills, having been able to send a telepathic message to Doctor Strange shortly before her first capture. Then again, it's also very possible that Doctor Strange mystically connected his mind to the other assembled heroes as they split up in case they ran into trouble and we just didn't see this action on-screen. Since Shanna isn't known in any reality for her telepathic skills, I'd wager my money on the latter explanation. - Proto-Man
