History:
(Daredevil I#380) - A criminal told a story about Deathdevil, an armored Daredevil, using a nuclear device from his glove to blow up the Kingpin, Bushwacker, Bullseye, and a member of the Hand.
Comments: Created by D.G. Chichester (writer), Lee Weeks (penciler) & Robert Campanella (inker).
This character appeared in one of numerous retellings of events that occurred on the previous night on Earth-616. People just lied about the events and made up their own version of the story. Deathdevil was one of these stories told by a criminal in Queens, New York City to his fellow criminals. This is the version that deviated the most from the truth.
Deathdevil is metefictional in that he was seen as part of a story within the Marvel Multiverse's Reality-616; however, this fictional story is also part of a separate reality, hence the designation.
