History: (Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Fantastic Four 2005 - Inhumans entry (fb) - BTS) - Auron was a known Inhuman. He eventually managed to depose the former ruler Gral, who had instituted a reign of terror that forced all civilians to undergo Terrigenesis, resulting in a large expansion of non-human-looking Inhumans.

(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe I#5 - Inhumans entry (fb) - BTS/Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Deluxe Edition I#6 - Inhumans entry (fb) - BTS) - Following Gral's downfall, Auron took over leadership of the Inhumans in Attilan.

(Inhumans II#2 (fb) - BTS) - Auron delivered his first edict under the Eastern Arch, establishing Attilan as a genocracy ratified by Council and fortified by technology, unified by evolution. The people soon adapted his words as the credo: "From diversity comes equality."

(Inhumans II#2 (fb) – BTS) – The credo from Auron's words was later read to young Inhumans getting ready to undergo Terrigenesis.

(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe I#5 - Inhumans entry - BTS) - In the modern era, after Black Bolt took leadership of the Inhumans, he was considered the most popular ruler since Auron.
