engineer Professor Mackinaw arranged to speak at the Midtown High
School science fair in New York.
(Avengers VI#11) - When Spider-Man attempted to
befriend his Avengers teammate Wasp (Nadia), he proposed taking her to
the Midtown High School science fair, where they would secretly listen
to genetic engineer Professor Mackinaw, whom Wasp considered a hack.
Their trip was cut short, however, when the duo had to stop and wrangle
escaped animals from a Farnum and Daly Circus truck and afterwards,
Spider-Man announced that he no longer wanted to hear Professor
Mackinaw's lecture, as he now all sweaty and smelled like Curious
George.
