Powers/Abilities: The "memory leeches" fed on the memories of anyone in their vicinity within the Backroads of Time.

Traits: Each "memory leech" appeared to be cylindrical in shape with almost no end in sight. The "memory leeches" possessed multiple mouths with which to feed.

History: (Doctor Strange & the Sorcerers Supreme I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Dr. Strange became familiar with the "memory leeches" from the Backroads of Time.

(Doctor Strange & the Sorcerers Supreme I#1) - After Camelot sorcerer Merlin traveled to the present day to inform Sorcerer Supreme Dr. Strange that a darkness unleashed in the present day was affecting the Camelot era, Merlin led Dr. Strange into the Backroads of Time, warning him of the "memory leeches." Revealing that he was aware that the creatures fed on memories, Dr. Strange informed Merlin that he was familiar with the creatures and their base of operations within the Backroads of Time. Merlin commended Dr. Strange on his knowledge of the "memory leeches" and asked if Strange's axe worked better than the present day state of magic. Strange followed up, admitting that he hated time travel, and threatened to the sick the "memory leeches" on Merlin if Merlin didn't explain why they had ventured into the Backroads of Time.
