(Marvel Collector's Edition I#1/2 (fb) - BTS) - Alas Longrun was a member of the Krellian resistance against the android army of the world-dominating, destructive Master Computer.

(Marvel Collector's Edition I#1/2) - Inspecting the devastated planet, the Silver Surfer saw Longrun being attacked by a Hunter android and dismantled it using his power cosmic. She related Krellian history of how machines rose up and destroyed their Krellian creators, splintering survivors, herself joining resistance fighters called the Light Raiders. The last of her group, she pleaded for his help, but the Surfer refused, insisting that Krellians band together and determine leadership. Twelve more Hunters of the Host arrived and she attacked, thinking herself alone, and destroyed several androids. The Silver Surfer covertly helped destroy the others, then suddenly left, deciding she would make a good leader. Other Krellians came out from nearby ruins and associated her with destroying all the Hunters there. Inspired be her, they hailed her as slayer and leader.

Marvel Collector's Edition I#1 was a promotional comic that was a mail-away from Charleston Chew candy. It was set during the time that the Silver Surfer freely roamed space and fits continuity, so I think it can easily be considered canon.

Marvel Collector's Edition I#1 has 4 stories in it; this was story #2.

Her hair may well have been blond, but being an alien, it could just as easily be yellow.
