Powers/Abilities: The Killer Plants had large gaping jaws full of savage red teeth and long leafy arms to restrain their prey. They were vulnerable to fire. The plants protected the nearby Ju-Ju berries, which had healing properties.

History: (Daredevil I#12) – When Daredevil was badly wounded in battle in the Savage Land, Ka-Zar needed the juice of the Ju-Ju berry to heal him. After a long trek through the jungle, Ka-Zar found the berries guarded by a savage "killer plant," one with wide gaping jaws, sharp red teeth and eight leafy arms, each seemingly razor sharp. Ka-Zar fought the plant back with a club but a second plant ensnared him, leaving Ka-Zar to cry for help from Zabu.

(Daredevil I#13) – As Ka-Zar struggled to avoid being eaten by the killer plants, Zabu launched himself at the plants then Ka-Zar lit the plants on fire, hoping to kill them forever. Ka-Zar gathered the Ju-Ju berries to help his friend.
