History: (Doctor Strange & the Sorcerers
Supreme I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Sorcerer Supreme Yao (later called the
Ancient One) fought an entire battalion of "elfin minotaur" armed only
with a seashell, a pinch of salt and a blade of grass.
(Doctor Strange & the Sorcerers Supreme I#1 -
BTS) - Having survived his encounter with the "elfin minotaur," Yao was
later recruited by Camelot sorcerer Merlin against the Forgotten and
during a battle with the Forgotten's beast-men, Yao informed fellow
Sorcerer Supreme Nina the Conjuror of his earlier battle against the
Comments: Created by Robbie Thompson, Javier Rodriguez and Alvaro Lopez.
The "elfin minotaur" were never actually seen
in-story, only referenced by Yao while he spoke with Nina the Conjuror.
As such, their physical traits were impossible to determine and could
only be somewhat presumed based on Yao's descriptions.
