It was unrevealed if his power fluctuated by the amount of souls in his possession or if his power levels remained the same all the time. Within his own dimension, Yogthulu was supremely powerful and was capable of disappearing and reappearing in different locations within the span of a second. Whether this ability was some form of teleportation or if the disappearing was actually the result of some sort of mystical illusion-casting remains to be seen.

History: (Iron Man: Armored Adventures cartoon episode - "Doomsday") - After capturing Iron Man, the Mandarin and Howard Stark, Doctor Doom used an alien Makluan ring (the Darkforce projection ring) in conjunction with a device in his castle to open a portal into the dimension of the demon Yogthulu. From the portal emerged Yogthulu himself, from whom Doom immediately demanded the return of the souls of his family. In exchange, Doom offered the souls of the captive Iron Man, Mandarin and Howard Stark. Yogthulu accepted Doom's offer and Doom's three captives were transported to Yogthulu's dimension, where Iron Man, Mandarin and Howard immediately began searching for a way to escape. Yogthulu then appeared around them, announcing that no one was allowed to leave his realm. When Iron Man replied by firing a repulsor blast at the demon, Yogthulu disappeared in a flash of light, appearing seconds later in a different side of the realm. Surprised at Iron Man's brazen attack, Yogthulu announced that Doctor Doom had tricked him and that the three souls sent to his realm were not pure. Returning through the portal to Earth, Yogthulu met with Doom, accusing Doom of trickery and reclaiming the souls of Doom's family before they could even be restored to life. Doom demanded Yogthulu return his family's souls, threatening to tear Yogthulu's realm apart if Yogthulu did not comply. Yogthulu responded by announcing their deal forfeit and disappearing back to his own realm, where Iron Man, Mandarin and Howard Stark used the Mandarin's rings to teleport themselves back to Doom's castle. An angry Doom began a battle with Iron Man and the Mandarin and Iron Man ultimately trapped Doom within his own capture cube. With the portal to Yogthulu's dimension still open, Yogthulu partially came through the portal and seemingly devoured Doctor Doom's soul, returning to his own realm before the portal was shut down.

Comments: Created by Brandon Auman, Marvel Animation and Method Animation (see Appearances list for full list of artists).

Yogthulu's realm was never identified but given that Doctor Doom used the Darkforce projection ring to open a portal to Yogthulu's realm, it's very possible that Yogthulu's realm was actually Earth-904913's Darkforce Dimension.

Yogthulu is a portmanteau of two of H.P. Lovecraft's creations, Yog-Sothoth (The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, 1941) and Cthulhu (The Call of Cthulhu, 1928).
