Powers/Abilities: Kev-Lar possessed all the traits
common to non-superpowered blue-skinned Kree. A gifted medical doctor
with an expertise in advanced cybernetics, he had his right eye replaced
with an implant that presumably increased his efficiency as a physician.
Kev-Lar was loyal to the Supreme Intelligence, even to the detriment of
his patients.

History:
(Iron Man I#278 (fb) - BTS) - Doctor Kev-Lar headed up a team of
physicians and cyberneticists that oversaw the creation and maintenance
of the Kree cybernetic warrior known as Shatterax.
(Iron Man I#278 - BTS) - Following an undisclosed, recent mission
Shatterax suffered extensive damage to his systems. Kev-Lar and his men
were busy with the overhaul to restore the warrior to optimum
conditions.
(Iron Man I#278) - When a group of Avengers infiltrated Kree outpost 51k/Sigma, their presence was noticed by the Supreme Intelligence who decided to send Shatterax to deal with the Terran intruders. Contacting Doctor Kev-Lar via video-link, he ordered Shatterax's immediate deployment. An apologetic Kev-Lar, holding the operative's signature helmet, explained that Shatterax was currently undergoing extensive repair and refitting, even as the cybernetic operative was seen writhing in pain on an operating table. Despite Kev-Lar's warning that a premature activation of Shatterax would shorten his lifespan by about 20 years, the Supreme Intelligence insisted he still be brought online as soon as possible. Kev-Lar abided by the supreme one's wishes and promised to have Shatterax fully operational by 14.00 hours.
(Iron Man I#278 - BTS) - Some time later, a combat ready Shatterax was teleported to Outpost 51k/Sigma.

The name Kev-Lar seems inspired by the bulletproof material kevlar. It's
not been revealed if Kev-Lar was among the relative handful of Kree on
Hala that survived the detonation of the Nega Bomb.
