History: (Amazing Spider-Man I#155 (fb) ) - Safecracker Leroy Tallon accidentally blew his own hands off with one of his own nitro-blasts.  He had them replaced with stainless steel prosthetics, "...so that when folks call me Tallon, they mean it!".

(Amazing Spider-Man I#155 (fb) ) - Years later, Tallon and his gang robbed the diamond exchange.

(Amazing Spider-Man I#155) - While celebrating their success at their warehouse hideout, Tallon and his gang were interrupted by Spider-Man, who had been misled by the WHO computer to believe that Tallon had killed Dr. Armstrong Smith (who had actually been killed by WHO itself, natch).  Tallon assumed that Spider-Man was there to bust them for the diamond heist, and ordered his gang to get him.  When his gang failed to take the wall-crawler down, Tallon tore off his gloves, revealing his metallic hands.  He grabbed Spider-Man by the neck and began to choke the life out of him, but Spider-Man reached up and boxed his ears.  He then punched Tallon across the room, right into his stolen jewels.  Tallon admitted to the robbery, and Spider-Man left him for the police.
