Powers/Abilities: Iron Man wears armor resembling a giant clothing iron, the type used to remove creases from clothing. Like its smaller counterparts, it generates steam and presumably can flatten and de-crease objects. It also presumably provides the wearer with an unspecified level of protection from attacks.
History: (Daredevils#7) - Iron Man took inspiration from his codename to go down a different though equally literal design route, and created armor that resembled a giant flatiron. Somewhat bad tempered, he would "get steamed up" when confronting criminals.
Comments: Created by Lew Stringer. A one-panel What If?-type joke, this was Lew's first professionally published work, for which he got paid the princely sum of £5.
