History: (Crazy Magazine#75) - When the Hulk bounded into the city looking forward to having a great time smashing everything, he was intercepted by the verbose Harvard-Man. The hero bombarded the Hulk with a series of queries regarding the rampaging beast's infantile violent machinations, and the Hulk began succumbing to the verbiage bombardment. Concluding that he only had one chance, the Hulk desperately threw a packet of Mostest Hinkies™ at Harvard-Man, who to his horror realized that he could not resist consuming the golden structures of spongy dough.

The excessive sugar in the confectionery sent Harvard-Man's IQ into a downward spiral, and soon Harvard-Man was no more intelligent than the Hulk, dumping his briefcase, tie and boater in the trash and expressing the desire to go to the city and smash things too. The Hulk gladly acquiesced to this request, feeling the pair would have fun together, and they bounded off in tandem.

Comments: Created by Allan Kupperberg (writer and artist).

The earliest parody of Hostess ads that I know of, Harvard-Man is really no less inane than many of the villains who appeared in the genuine ads, and there's nothing to say he couldn't be active on Earth-616.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Harvard-Man has no known connections to

Mostest Hinkies™

Mostest Hinkies™ were irresistibly tasty cream-filled soft dough confectionery, whose sugar content was so high that it caused almost instantaneous I.Q. loss, a detail they used as a marketing tool, proudly proclaiming "You get brain-decay every day with Mostest Hinkies!™"
