(Ultraverse Premiere#0/2 (fb) - BTS) - Antonio was raised in the village of San Pietro and was a (thieving ) altar boy at the local church which carried the legend of a protective angel. He left the village as an adult and found the "vampire's path," but returned around a year later, targeting the old priest.

(Ultraverse Premiere#0/2) - Well before dawn, Antonio confronted the priest inside the church, knowing he would be alone, and threatened and intimidated him. The priest pushed a candle flame against Antonio's face, burning the vampire, but the raised crucifix had no effect. Antonio attacked, killing the priest as he drank his blood, but also sure that this would not turn the priest into a vampire. Meanwhile, Yrial  had been observing the situation and flew outside the window. Still superstitious about the protective angel, Antonio ran scared while the shadowy form of Yrial flew nearby until he fell from a cliff and was impaled on the church spire.

It's likely Yrial used her elemental-like powers to push Antonio's fall toward the church's spire.

Well, he calls himself a vampire, but I'm not 100% convinced; he desired the "magick of hot blood", so perhaps he became a sorcerer with vampiric aspects. However, this is the Ultraverse, which is quite different to Earth-616.

After a quick Google search, the village of San Pietro is likely placed in Italy; there is also a small village called Santo Pietro in Sicily.
