Powers/Abilities: Dr. Ingrid Thysson is a trained and well-educated clinical psychologist highly respected in her field.
History:
(Onslaught: Epilogue (fb) - BTS) - Tops in her field, Dr. Thysson was called in by the mutant-hating Bastion to run a complete psych evaluation of Charles Xavier (then dubbed prisoner M-13) in the wake of the Onslaught disaster.
(Onslaught: Epilogue) - Thysson arrived by helicopter at Bastion's Operation: Zero Tolerance base in Nevada and was concerned by the brutality she saw. A monitor malfunction (secretly generated by prisoner M-9) of Xavier's cell prompted Bastion, Smith, Thysson and several guards to rush there. Bastion demanded from Thysson a full psych evaluation of Xavier in only a few days. The next day, dressed in a colorful harness, she assessed Xavier as he responded to questions while strapped to a disorienting gyro-scanner; they learnt a little of each other. Later, Thysson noticed the same monitor "malfunction" and rushed to Xavier's cell where she found Xavier and M-9. Thysson realized that M-9 was a telepath and that they intended to destroy her, so the psychologist helped M-9 escape. However, she was stopped by Smith, who knocked her out and took M-9 away. Two days later, Thysson farewelled Xavier, sent off on another assignment yet to be defined.
