History:

(Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes II#3 (fb) - BTS) - The Death Tiger performed various (presumably violent) acts for Wakanda, but went into self-imposed exile and became a mercenary for hire.

(Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes II#2 (fb) - BTS) - When T'Challa introduced Wakanda into the United Nations and took upon himself an American identity, M'Baku authorized three Wakandans in America, N'Taka, M'Chata and Naraba, to make a move against T'Challa.

(Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes II#3) - N'Taka met with the Death Tiger, offering him redemption, and agreed to meet the assassin's price to kill T'Challa, the Black Panther, although the Death Tiger did not respect N'Taka's motives.

(Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes II#5) - Adopting a civilian disguise, the Death Tiger watched T'Challa in his identity as school teacher Luke Charles.

(Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes II#6) - Hiding in the shadows, the Death Tiger watched from the building opposite Avengers mansion as various heroes gathered to celebrate Hank Pym's marriage to the Wasp. He was suddenly confronted by two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

(Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes II#7) - The Black Panther saw the corpses of the two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and silently recognized how they had been killed. Two days later, the Death Tiger watched T'Challa teach at his Harlem school and waited till after hours to stalk the corridor toward T'Challa's room, but was unknowingly watched by the bullied and troubled student Delroy Watkins. The Death Tiger attacked T'Challa as he left and the two fought fiercely against each other, soon crashing through a window, falling down into the school grounds. The Death Tiger eventually gained the upper hand with his knives and was about to deliver the killing stroke when Delroy fired his gun several times, killing the assassin.

It's likely that there could be other candidates for the position of Death Tiger, similar to the line of Black Panthers, especially given the "fabled" status of the Death Tiger (stated in issue #7).
