History:

(Our Love Story#16/3 (fb) - BTS) - Ginny Davis had just become a new airline stewardess and had set up a dinner date with the pilot Captain Brent Rogers, despite knowing his reputation for philandering.

(Our Love Story#16/3) - Ginny's friend, Maggie, warned her of Captain Rogers' record with women, but went ahead with the date regardless. Taken in by his charm, she was shocked to find him the next morning having coffee with another stewardess. Feeling foolish, she stormed off and was very abrupt with Rogers when she found out they was working the same flight, focusing instead on her job serving passengers and taking care of their needs. However, one passenger whipped out a gun and took her hostage, demanding that the plane fly to Havana, Cuba. Holding the gun to her, he forced his way into the pilot's cabin. Ginny was able to knock the hijacker's arm up, allowing Captain Rogers to punch him out, although a gunshot went off that grazed the pilot's arm. Ginny showed concern and Rogers then declared that the incident had opened his eyes that women were more than just the playthings he treated them as. Ginny believed him and the two walked off arm-in-arm once back on the ground as the hijacker was taken away by police. She hoped one day to marry Rogers.

The size of the airplane indicates Trans Am to be a domestic airline.

Brent Rogers

Captain Brent Rogers was an experienced pilot of passenger jets for Trans Am airlines. He had developed a reputation for dating new stewardesses, charming them before moving on to the next one, but breaking their hearts. Ginny Davis was one such new stewardess who was charmed by him, but despite knowing the Captain's reputation, was shocked when she saw him with another stewardess from the same airline. She treated him coldly but later on the same flight she helped Rogers overcome an armed hijacker. This served to open his eyes and he declared his love for her.
