History:

(Daredevil I#-1) – A local in New York who ate regularly at the Ale House Bar and Grill, Benj and his friends grew frustrated when incoming college students tried coming in the bar. He picked on one blind student, Matt Murdock, furious when Matt disrespected him. Matt’s father Jack came out ready to fight until Benj drew a knife and the Murdocks hurried away. That night, Matt came back again and beat up Benj and his friends when they provoked him a second time. His teeth broken, Benj reached for his knife, so Matt stepped on it. Jack cheered Matt on.
