Powers/Abilities: Auntie was an old woman who had developed the power to communicate with animals, but spoke no English.
History:
(Strangers#17 (fb) - BTS) - Auntie was one of the people riding the cable car struck by the jumpstart effect that gave the passengers certain powers. Some of the passengers later banded together to become the superhero group called the Strangers. Meanwhile, Auntie found that she had the newfound ability to talk with animals but did not let this change her and maintained her close interaction with her family.
(Strangers#6) - Auntie observed the Strangers' battle with Deathwish.
(Strangers#17) - Elena La Brava, the Strangers member codenamed Lady Killer, staged a fashion show which proved very popular and attracted a lot of people to the event. Auntie waited in line with her niece and asked her to translate to the attendant that she was there only to see the Strangers. She stood with the crowd and watched as Rafferty ran from the Strangers and into the spectators. Rafferty cut her throat as he escaped and she died cradled in the arms of her niece.
