(Cage I#9 (fb)) - Animator was a boy. He had been arrested and was being taken to the Vault alongside two other super-beings: Rhino and Cinder.
One of the Guardsmen who patrolled the transfer, Pascal, had an insane hatred for criminals and threatened them during transport. Animator was terrorized and succeeded in deactivating the restraining devices of Cinder and himself. Free, Cinder killed Guardsman Corben Rubinstein and was executed by Pascal. Pascal also tried to kill Rhino and killed Guardsman Rick McLaurin. Being a witness, Animator was killed by Pascal. In his last moment of life Animator deactivated all the electric devices in the trailer, freeing Rhino, who escaped and saved his own life.
