History: (Epic Illustrated#9/5) - Red Soryll was one of the dragons of Klarn, and was left by the Elves of Klarn in a slumber through the use of the Sleep Crytal. However, when Murkandor shattered the Sleep Crystal Red Soryll awoke, and with the other dragons went on a rampage at the dwarf village of Treehaven. Tyndall the elf was able to communicate with the dragons, and sent them away to Weirdworld's third moon.

(Epic Illustrated#12) - The dragons went in search of the Sleep Crystal, and spied Nightgaunt using it to cross to the Land of the Dead. Red Soryll led them to find Tyndall, who was in the process of retrieving the sword Glorywand alongside Mud-Butt, Velanna and Wulfbuck. Red Soryll used his flame breath to melt the crystals which had embedded Glorywand's blade. Red Soryll alerted them to the danger of Nightgaunt, and offered the services of his fellow dragons to pursue him.

(Epic Illustrated#13) - Red Soryll bore Tyndall into battle against Nightgaunt and his goblin forces at the Land of the Dead, and they ultimately triumphed.
